DeafBiographies Update - Vol. 2, No. 5 - 10 June 2005 Updating you on new record groups and information on DeafBiographies.com
============================= From the Administrator New Record Groups =============================
From the Administrator
It has been a busy month for DeafBiographies, though most of the activity has been "behind the scenes." Some changes needed to be made to the structure of the database. Also, time has been spent gathering more records to enter. This summer, look for more records to be added from Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, New York and Pennsylvania.
Happy researching!

New Record Groups
There is only one new record group since the last DeafBiographies Update, but it is a very good one -- Students at the American Asylum for the Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut, 1858. Included in this roster are students from Alabama, California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Canada West.
